Abstract
Dokumentiranje djece i vlastitoga rada prvi je korak u transformiranju i stvaranju kvalitetne odgojno – obrazovne prakse. Osim što se pomoću dokumentiranja može pratiti razvoj djece, ono omogućuje odgajatelju profesionalnu refleksiju svoga rada što se danas smatra umijećem odgajateljskoga posla. Odgoj i obrazovanje se sve više okreću cjeloživotnom učenju i stvaranju društva znanja koji se povezuje s uporabom informacijsko komunikacijske tehnologije i internetom kao primarnim medijem za „nabavljanje“ informacija. Kao i sva zanimanja, i odgajateljev posao raste u skladu s društvenim promjenama pa se time postavlja pitanje na koji način odgajatelj može opstati u društvu znanja te koje su mu kompetencije, znanja i vještine za to potrebne.
Abstract (english)
Documenting children and preschool teacher's work is the first step in transforming and creating quality educational practices. In addition to documenting the development of children, it enables the preschool teacher to reflect professionally on his work, which is considered to be the art of teacher's work today. Education is increasingly turning to lifelong learning and the creation of a knowledge society that is linked to the use of information communication technology and the Internet as the primary media for "getting" informations. Like all professions, the work of preschool teacher is growing in line with social changes, and this raises the question of how the preschool teachers can survive in the knowledge society and what knowledge and skills it needs.
