Abstract U radu se književnoteorijski pristupa analizi djela Jagode Truhelke, Zlate Kolarić-Kišur, Maje Gluščević, Višnje Stahuljak i Sunčane Škrinjarić. Rezultati analize također pokazuju da ranije tekstove karakterizira viša razina literarizacije, a tekstove nastale iza 1980. prekidanje pripovijedanja neknjiževnim tekstovima u funkciji potkrijepljenja privatnog prostora autobiografskog subjekta. Svi odabrani tekstovi potvrđuju prožimanje privatnog i javnog prostora na tematskoj razini, pri čemu univerzalni motivi djetinjstva omogućuju poistovjećivanje čitatelja s tekstom, a motivi šireg društvenog konteksta pridonose izgradnji specifičnog konstrukta djetinjstva. Prisutnost zavičajnih motiva potvrđuje autobiografski karakter tekstova, a analiza je pokazala njihovu značajniju pojavnost na semantičkoj razini u djelima ranijeg nastanka.
Abstract (english) This thesis provides a literary-theoretical analysis of the works of Jagoda Truhelka, Zlata Kolarić-Kišur, Maja Gluščević, Višnja Stahuljak and Sunčana Škrinjarić. Taking into account the subjectivity of storytelling as a common feature when it comes to the depiction of childhood, the following works were analyzed in this thesis: Zlatni danci (Golden Days), Moja Zlatna dolina (My Golden Valley), Ulica predaka (The Street of Ancestors), Odrastanje (Growing Up) and Sjećanja (Memories). After presenting the theoretical determinants of the autobiographical discourse in Croatian children's literature, the aforementioned works were interpreted based on the criteria for classifying autobiographical prose in children’s literature, as modified by Andrijana Kos Lajtman. Starting from the criteria for determining whether a certain text belongs to children’s literature, the works were observed at a thematic level with regard to the motives of childhood and their relationship to the motives pertaining to the wider social context. Based on the regional and local identity of the writers, this thesis analyzed the presence of homeland motives and language and speech representations. According to the autobiographical model, the analysis confirmed significant differences between the texts. The texts differ typologically in terms of the narrator’s participation in the action and the autobiographical subject’s relation to the category of time. This confirms that there is a wide range of expressive possibilities when it comes to the autobiographical discourse in Croatian children’s literature. The influence of writers’ literary periodization is evident at the level of literalization of an individual text. It is significant to point out that all the texts are the examples of literary autobiography. The underlying reasons for that can be found in the requirements of children’s literature concerning the reader’s age, although the purpose and the expression of the text, as well as the choice of childhood motives in recent texts openes the possibility of questioning the boundaries of children’s literature. The results of the analysis also show that earlier texts are characterized by a higher level of literalization, while the texts dated after 1980 are characterized by the use of non-literal texts interrupting the narration. All the selected texts confirm the interweaving of private and public space at a thematic level, where the universal motives of childhood allow readers to identify with the text, while the motives pertaining to a wider social context contribute to the construction of a specific childhood construct. The presence of the homeland motives confirmed the autobiographical aspect of the texts, while the analysis showed their significant representation at a semantic level of the ealier works.
