Abstract
Početak 20. stoljeća označava porast svijesti o djetetu i djetinjstvu kao važnoj razvojnoj fazi. Vodeća paradigma u suvremenoj pedagogiji, naglasak stavlja na dijete kao subjekt vlastitog razvoja, što su i potvrdile spoznaje razvojne psihologije, istraživanja mozga, kao i istraživanja razvoja jezika. Time se pozornost usmjerila na potencijale samoobrazovanja koje djeca unose u obrazovni proces. Radom se želi istaknuti suvremenost u pedagogijama nastalim u vremenskom odmaku.
Abstract (english)
The beginning of the 20th century marks the rise in awareness of the child and childhood as an important developmental phase. The leading paradigm in contemporary pedagogy emphasizes the child as the subject of their own development, which has been confirmed by insights from developmental psychology, brain research, and language development studies. This has shifted attention to the potentials of selfeducation that children bring into the educational process. The aim of this paper is to highlight the modernity in pedagogies that emerged over time.
