Abstract Cilj ovog istraživanja je utvrditi postoje li statistički značajne razlike u tjelesnoj aktivnosti
roditelja i djece rane i predškolske dobi prije i poslije pandemije Covid-19, odnosno utvrdit će
se povezanost iste s dobi roditelja i djeteta, spolom djeteta, obrazovanjem roditelja i mjesta
stanovanja.
Uzorak čini 48 roditelja i 48 djece, odnosno ukupno 96 sudionika. Korišten je upitnik za
mjerenje razine tjelesne aktivnosti pod nazivom „Aktivnost roditelja i djece prije i poslije
pandemije bolesti COVID-19“.
tablica i grafičkih prikaza.
ustanove ranog i predškolskog odgoja.
Abstract (english) The aim of this research is to determine whether there are statistically significant differences in
the physical activity of parents and children of early and preschool age before and after the
COVID-19 pandemic, i.e. the relationship between the age of parents and child, gender of the
child, education of parents and place of residence will be determined.
The sample consists of 48 parents and 48 children, or a total of 96 participants. A questionnaire
was used to measure the level of physical activity called "Activity of parents and children before
and after the COVID-19 pandemic". Basic descriptive parameters and percentages (%) were
calculated. Differences were determined by Student's t-test for dependent and independent
samples, and the association between variables was tested by Spearmen's correlation
coefficient. All results are presented in the form of tables and graphs.
The results show that before the pandemic, younger parents involved their children in organized
sports activities significantly more, and children living in smaller settlements were significantly
more physically active in their free time. After the COVID-19 pandemic, boys and children
living in larger settlements are significantly more involved in organized sports activities. After
the pandemic, children from smaller places of residence and children whose parents have a
lower level of education are significantly more physically active in household chores and play.
It is very interesting information that shows that, after the pandemic, the younger the children,
the more physically active they are in their free time.
It can be concluded that children and parents have extremely low levels of physical activity.
The COVID-19 pandemic significantly contributed to these results in certain segments, but
globally the problem of insufficient movement existed earlier. If we want to achieve a
satisfactory quality of life and family health, it is necessary to take appropriate measures in the
future. Certainly, one of the solutions could be systematic education through educators, that is,
early and preschool education institutions.
