Abstract
Sukladno ostvarenju suvremene paradigme mijenja se i uloga odgajatelja u ustanovama za rani i predškolski odgoj i obrazovanje. U tom kontekstu, odgajatelji, kao nosioci odgojno-obrazovnog procesa, prema profesionalnoj i zakonskoj regulativi, obvezani su pružati podršku roditeljima i kroz procese savjetovanja. Cilj ovog rada je dati pregled teorijskih spoznaja u kontekstu savjetovanja u ranom i predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja, odnosno prikazati vještina savjetovanja kojima se odgajatelji koriste u savjetodavnom procesu s roditeljima djece s teškoćama u razvoju. Pregledavanjem recentne literature iz teorije savjetovanja mogu se odrediti elementi procesa savjetovanja, osobito vještine savjetovanja koje odgajatelji trebaju u pružanju podrške roditeljima. Odgajatelji kao eksperta na području ranog i predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja mogu značajnu podršku pružiti roditeljima djece s teškoćama primjenom vještina savjetovanja. Manji broj postojećih radova koji su istraživali ovu ove tematika u Republici Hrvatskoj dodatno potvrđuju značaj odgajateljske uloge u pružanju podrške s jedne strane, dok s druge ukazuju na potrebu za dodatnim osposobljavanjem.
Abstract (english)
In accordance with the realization of the modern paradigm, the role of educators in institutions for early and preschool education also changes In this context, educators, as the carriers of the educational process, according to professional and legal regulations, are obliged to provide support for parents through consultation processes. The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of theoretical findings in the context of early and preschool education counseling, i.e. to present the skills of counseling used by educators in the advisory process with parents of children with developmental disabilities. By reviewing recent literature from the theory of consultation, it is possible to determine the elements of the consultation process, especially the consulting skills that educators need to support those parents. Educators as an experts in early and preschool education can provide significant support to parents of children with difficulties by applying consulting skills. The small number of existing theoretical works that have researched this topic in the Republic of Croatia further confirm the importance of the educators role in providing support on the one hand, while on the other hand they indicate the need for additional training.
