Abstract
U ovom radu istražene su spolne razlike u kinantropološkim obilježjima djece rane školske dobi kroz četiri razvojna razdoblja. Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi postojanje razlika među dječacima i djevojčicama u morfološkim i motoričkim sposobnostima. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 365 učenika triju riječkih osnovnih škola. Rezultati su pokazali statistički značajne razlike u 8 od 10 varijabli koje uključuju tjelesnu visinu, tjelesnu masu, indeks tjelesne mase, kožne nabore, izdržaj u čučnju i planku te skok u dalj s mjesta. Dječaci su se istaknuli višim i težim tjelesnim karakteristikama te boljim rezultatima u skoku u dalj s mjesta, dok su djevojčice pokazale bolje rezultate u izdržaju u čučnju i planku. Ovi rezultati doprinose razumijevanju prirodnih razlika među spolovima u tjelesnom razvoju i motoričkim sposobnostima te pružaju osnovu za prilagođavanje tjelesnih aktivnosti i sportskih programa za djecu školske dobi.
Abstract (english)
This studye xplored gender differences in kinesanthropometric charachteristics of early school-age children a cross four developmental periods. The aim of the research was to determine the existence of differences between boys and girls in morphological and motor abilities. The study was conducted on a sample of 365 students from three primary schools in Rijeka. The results revealed statistically significant differences in 8 of10 variables, including height, bodymass, bodymass indeks, skinfolds, squat and plank endurance, and standing long jump. Boys stood out with taller and heavier body characteristics and better results in standing long jump, while girls demnostrated better results in squat and plank endurance. These findings contribute to understanding the natural gender differences in physical development and motor abilities and provide a basis for tailoring physical activities and sports programs for school-age children.
