Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi sociodemografske korelate motivacijskih komponenata samoregulacije u području učenja materinjeg jezika i matematike na uzorku učenika četvrtih i petih razreda osnovne škole. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 65 učenika iz 12 osnovnih škola s područja Republike Hrvatske. U istraživanju su korištena dva jednaka upitnika (upitnici su se razlikovali samo u početnoj uputi gdje je u jednome naglašeno da se rješava u skladu s iskustvima vezanima uz područje učenja materinjeg jezika, a u drugome uz područje učenja matematike) sastavljena od pet sociodemografskih pitanja za opisivanje uzorka, skale ispitne anksioznosti, skale akademske samoefikasnosti, skale ciljnih orijentacija u učenju te skale motivacijskih strategija. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da su djevojčice sklonije ispitnoj anksioznosti i približavanju kompeticiji nego dječaci. Također je utvrđeno da su učenici petih razreda skloniji primjenjivanju obrambenih motivacijskih strategija, a da su učenici četvrtih razreda skloniji primjenjivanju proaktivnih motivacijskih strategija.
Abstract (english)
The study aimed to determine the sociodemographic correlates of motivational components of self-regulation in studying mathematics and the mother tongue. The research was conducted on a sample of 65 students in fourth and fifth grade from 12 elementary schools in Croatia. Two identical questionnaires were used in the research (questionnaires differed only in the initial instruction where one emphasized that it was solved based on the experiences related to the field of mother tongue learning and another in the field of learning mathematics). The questionnaires were composed of five sociodemographic questions that were used to describe the sample followed by exam anxiety, academic self-efficacy, target orientations in learning and motivational strategies scales. The results show that girls are more prone to test anxiety and approaching competition than boys. It was also found that fifth graders tend to apply defensive motivational strategies more often, and that fourth graders tend to apply proactive motivational strategies more often.
